IRONMAN® 70.3® PUERTO RICO RETURNS TO SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO, ON MARCH 16, 2025

Registration for the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico triathlon is now open.

San Juan, PUERTO RICO (April 30, 2024) – The IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico triathlon will return to San Juan, Puerto Rico for the thirteenth time, with the event scheduled for Sunday, March 16, 2025. Registration for the event is open; you can sign up by visiting www.ironman.com/im703-puerto-rico.

The 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico triathlon will kick off its 70.3-mile journey with a continuous entry into the 1.2-mile (1.9 km) swim stage, in the beautiful waters of the Laguna del Condado. Once out of the water, athletes will embark on a 56-mile (90 km) bike course through the northern part of the island, starting from the City of San Juan to the municipality of Dorado. They will enjoy beach views, with some short but challenging hills. After transitioning to the run, athletes will complete a 13.1-mile (21 km) run through the Old San Juan city, traversing the northern part of the islet with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, strolling through 16th-century Spanish architecture, reaching the turnaround point at the famous Fort San Felipe del Morro along the Paseo del Morro. They will then return to transition for a second loop that leads them to the finish line.

The 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico offers slots for the 2025 VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship, taking place in Marbella, Spain, from November 8 to 9, 2025.

San Juan, PUERTO RICO (30 de abril de 2024) – El triatlón IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico regresará a San Juan, Puerto Rico por decimotercera vez, con el evento programado para el domingo, 16 de marzo de 2025. La inscripción para el evento está abierta; puedes acceder visitando, www.ironman.com/im703-puerto-rico.

El triatlón IRONMAN 70.3 Puerto Rico 2025 comenzará su trayecto de 70.3 millas con un ingreso continuo a la etapa del nado de 1.2 millas (1.9 km), en las hermosas aguas de la Laguna del Condado. Una vez fuera del agua, los atletas emprenderán un recorrido en bicicleta de 56 millas (90 km) por la parte norte de la Isla, saliendo de la Ciudad de San Juan hacia el municipio de Dorado. Disfrutarán de vistas a la playa, con algunas colinas cortas pero desafiantes. Después de la transición a la carrera pedestre, los atletas realizarán una corrida de 13.1 millas (21 km) a través de la ciudad del Viejo San Juan, recorriendo la parte norte del islote con impresionantes vistas al Océano Atlántico, paseando por la arquitectura española del siglo XVI, para llegar al punto de ida y vuelta por el Paseo del Morro del famoso Fuerte de San Felipe del Morro.
